? The Roxy Regional Theatre is gearing up to celebrate 34 years of presenting live theatre in the heart of Historic Downtown Clarksville on the corner of Franklin and First. The Roxy has long been regarded as 'the cornerstone of downtown re-development,' and SEASON 34 will see new productions and exciting changes to the programming and structure of the theatre.

This February, the universal language of the blues will wail out full and strong on the corner of Franklin and First in downtown Clarksville. The scorching Tony-nominated musical revue BLUES IN THE NIGHT opens at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Friday, February 5, at 8pm. In keeping with the theatre's traditional pay-what-you-can preview, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular ticket price will go on sale at 7:30pm that evening for a $5 minimum donation.

This January, the PACE Center and Starkey Theatrix present the classic tale of Peter Pan. This is a one-of-a-kind theatrical production for PACE, as multiple characters will fly through the air, thanks to the mechanisms of Flying by Foy. This aerial effects company has been called "the most prolific and widely-respected theatrical flying service in the world." They have collaborated on several well-known Broadway productions such as The Lion King, The Phantom of the Opera, The Wizard of Oz, and Peter Pan with the great Cathy Rigby.
If there's one thing Colorado Springs could use right now (apart from help rebuilding after yet another devastating wildfire), it's a little catharsis. So while the timeliness of Fine Arts Center's Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris certainly wasn't intentional, it's nonetheless welcome, as Brel's clever, cynical ballads are just the sort of thing to vent all that pent up frustration and clear away some room for hope.
