Arvada Center Opens HOW I BECAME A PIRATE, 1/26

On January 26, The Arvada Center opens the children’s theater production How I Became a Pirate, book, music and lyrics by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman, directed by David and Julie Payne. The stage production is based on the book, How I Became a Pirate written by Melinda Long and Illustrations by David Shannon. The show will run January 26 – March 9 in the Center’s Main Stage Theater before moving to the intimate Black Box Theater March 21 – April 14, 2012. Performances are 10am and noon, Tuesday through Friday, Saturdays at 11am – February 18, 25 and March 2 and 11am and 1pm, April 7 and 14. (more...)
