Denver Center Attractions and Nancy Rebek Productions are proud to present WORKS IN PROGRESS: AN INTIMATE EVENING WITH David Sedaris. Best-selling author and NPR contributor David Sedaris comes to Denver for an unprecedented eight performances only in the intimate Garner Galleria Theatre January 21-27, 2013. Patrons may purchase a limit of four tickets per performance. Tickets are on sale at denvercenter.org or by calling 303.893.4100.
David Sedaris will be presenting select readings that may be included in his new book, Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls, due for publication in April 2013. The audience reaction will, in part, determine the final edits to the publication. This is a rare opportunity, as Sedaris performs in only two markets prior to the final edits in his new works.
“We are thrilled to host this as it has been done on a very limited basis in the past—perhaps 6 times only. Due to his past success in Denver with presenter Nancy Rebek, we were approached to be part of this unprecedented week,” says Denver Center President & Executive Director of Denver Center Attractions, Randy Weeks.
With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris has become one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers; he is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing the human condition today. This unique opportunity is not to be missed.
Single tickets for WORKS IN PROGRESS: AN INTIMATE EVENING WITH David Sedaris are just $35. To charge by phone, call Denver Center Ticket Services at 303.893.4100.
