Magic Theatre Announces Cast of Jessica Hagedorn's THE GANGSTER OF LOVE

Magic Theatre (Loretta Greco, Artistic Director and Jaimie Mayer, Managing Director) announced today the complete cast of Jessica Hagedorn's World Premiere THE GANGSTER OF LOVE, the final production of the 2017-2018 season. Previews begin on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Magic Theatre's Fort Mason location, with a press opening on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are on-sale now.

Sex with Strangers is one of the most-produced plays in the U.S. in '15-'16 and '16-'17 seasons with more than 50 separate productions. The director is Katherine M. Carter. The play includes adult themes and language.

Davis McCallum, Artistic Director of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, has announced that Drama League and Drama Desk Award nominee Julia Coffey will join the company to take over the roles of Rosalind in As You Like It, and Mariana and Mistress Overdone in Measure for Measure. Coffey will first appear in As You Like It on Sunday, July 31.
