NOW PLAYING: The Edge Theater Presents IT'S JUST SEX thru 7/22

The Edge Theater Company presents the regional premiere of IT'S JUST SEX by Jeff Gould and directed by Bill Smith playing now through July 22nd.

With the kids away, three married couples get together for an evening of relaxation and laughs. But as the liquor flows and secrets are revealed, trust is tested and boundaries are broken. IT'S JUST SEX is a comedic and thought-provoking look at fidelity, lust, communication, and what it really takes for a marriage to survive and thrive. By the end of the evening, what should have been just an innocent party turns into an event that changes all three relationships forever.

The cast includes Patty Ionoff (Joan), Scott Bellot (Phil), James O'Hagan-Murphy (Greg), Kirsten Deane (Lisa), Brock Benson (Carl), Samara Bridwell (Kelly) and Rebecca Shibao (Amanda). 

Playwright Jeff Gould joined the company for the opening weekend, and conducted post-performance talk back on Friday, June 29th and Saturday, June 30th.

The Edge Theater Company presents IT'S JUST SEX seducing audiences now through July 22nd with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 6:00 p.m. (with one Sunday performance at 2:00 p.m. on July 22). Michael Mulhern has lived in Denver and been active in it's theater scene for over 10 years. He is originally from Wiesbaden, Germany and graduated with a BFA in Theater Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Currently he performs in one to two shows a year and is a proud member of the Denver Gay Men's Chorus.
