NOW PLAYING: Inspire Creative Presents JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT thru 8/25

Inspire Creative Theater Company presents a fully-staged production of the classic musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT weekends now through August 25th at the PACE Center in Parker, CO. 

The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. He is purchased by Potiphar where thwarting advances from Potiphar's wife lands him in jail. When news of Joseph's gift to interpret dreams reaches the Pharaoh (wryly and riotously depicted as Elvis), Joseph is well on his way to becoming second in command. Eventually his brothers, having suffered greatly, unknowingly find themselves groveling at the feet of the brother they betrayed but no longer recognize. After testing their integrity, Joseph reveals himself leading to a heartfelt reconciliation of the sons of Israel. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless.

Gary is the Artistic Director for Inspire Creative and believes the arts go past the defenses and intellect - can raise and affect the heart, changing the way one looks at life. His goal for the last twenty-five years has been to touch hearts through drama. He has a legacy of over twenty shows including Fiddler On The Roof, Godspell, The Music Man, and The Sound of Music. Rounding out his team includes Choreography by Liane Adamo and Musical Direction by Tanner Kelly.

Michael Mulhern has lived in Denver and been active in it's theater scene for over 10 years. He is originally from Wiesbaden, Germany and graduated with a BFA in Theater Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Currently he performs in one to two shows a year and is a proud member of the Denver Gay Men's Chorus.
