Byers-Evans House Theatre Company presents AN EVENING WITH EDGAR ALLAN POE playing through November 5 at the Byers-Evans House Museum.  Readers' theatre returns to the Byers-Evans House with tales from the master of macabre - Edgar Allan Poe. This long-anticipated production, directed by Dell Domnik, features readings of Poe's most famous stories including "The Raven," "The Tell-Tale Heart," "The Masque of the Red Death," and many more.

The show takes place in the library of the historic Byers-Evans House Museum, amidst the Evans family original belongings and beautiful furniture. The museum collection itself serves as the stage and creates an historic atmosphere appropriate to the historic nature of the stories. The cast includes Mike Holzer, Brandon Palmer, Amy Ratliff, Catrina Trammell, Nick Ortiz-Trammell, Wade Wood, and Keith Wright.

The museum has always supported local theatre by serving as a venue for various small companies. The newly formed Byers-Evans Theatre Company is associated directly with the house and all ticket proceeds help support museum programs, operations and education.
